Realtech Lan Driver
If HCL laptop not detecting wireless network automatically, do the following steps:
1) login as root
for this - in terminal type the following command (for ubuntu 10.04)
sudo passwd root
Press Enter Key
Current Password
New Password
Retype new Password
log out & login as root
Open HCL Laptop - Wireless Lan Driver Folder -rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0019.1207.2010,(or Download from the above link) copy,paste & extract in to Desktop
2) Right click on the extracted Driver folder & open the Terminal
Type 'make' & press enter key
type 'make install'
3)Restart the system
log out & login as root
Open HCL Laptop - Wireless Lan Driver Folder -rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0019.1207.2010,(or Download from the above link) copy,paste & extract in to Desktop
2) Right click on the extracted Driver folder & open the Terminal
Type 'make' & press enter key
type 'make install'
3)Restart the system
